It’s no secret that producing new garments is not a sustainable process. That’s why at INDIA DYLANN we make conscious efforts across every stage of our design process to ensure we are offsetting our environmental and social impact as much as possible.

All INDIA DYLANN pieces are made in Australia from start to finish- design, cut and sew. This reduces our carbon foot print, supports local business and the Australian fashion industry as a whole.

Every one of our carefully selected fabrics is of a very high quality ensuring the garment’s longevity and potential for circularity. To be more transparent and give our consumers the information they require to make informed buying decisions, we provide the fibre content and a little bit about the sustainability of each garment.

Whilst INDIA DYLANN is not perfect we are continually searching for new fabrics and practices that offer better environmental alternatives.

WHAT CAN Y O U DO?

Support small, conscious designers. Invest in timeless pieces and respect the suggested care instructions to preserve the longevity of your garment.

Sustainability does not only lie within the manufacturing process but also the design process, INDIA DYLANN aims to create timeless garments that resonate with the wearer. Our designs are created around the concept of emotion, story telling and the transformative value of what we wear rather than following current trends and seasons.

Thanks for caring.

All INDIA DYLANN designs are limited edition, reducing, if not eradicating excess inventory and production waste. Our manufacturer also uses laser cutting technology to ensure the greatest yield from fabric; significantly reducing fabric waste compared to traditional cutting processes.

Of course some fabric waste is inevitable so a significant percentage of our ‘waste’ is up-cycled into our ‘Series 2’ garments or in accessories such as bags and bucket hats.
